So I think this the second figure I did in class. Obviously a female figure. I was very happy with the results. Actually, so was the model. She even took a picture of it. And I know my instructor liked it also, but I think that was mostly cause of the improvement that I made from the last one. He was an awesome teacher. I think he was polish? Something like that. But he had a very, fuddy duddy attitude towards art, but he was funny as hell. I remember when he saw it his exact words were “…hm…not bad.”

Anyway.

I love clay. Clay clay clay.

i like these, especially how the musculature starts to come through. the upper body is a little stiff but the legs and hips are elegant. you should keep pushing those poses! nice work

yea, i would have to agree about the stiff upper body. i think it's the shoulders, or maybe if she was leaning back a little more. except i always always ALWAYS sculpt it down to the armeture. you can see it poking through in some spots!
