i have another week to work on it so i'm going to use that time wisely.

sometimes, figures aren't enough

here's a robot idea i've been playing around with. i found some time tonight to get out a rough sketch in photo shop. rendering the metal was pretty easy with a textured brush, but i think next time i'll really push to refine it, and make the metal more convincing. i could of pushed the wheel and mechanism a little more, but at least i laid down my idea.

voila, 

here's a more polished off version of this guy. i still have some regrets. like in the shading of the hat, and the bullets around his chest. but all in all, i feel pretty good about it. i think it'll make a decent portfolio piece for now.
